Who we are
Evangelical Free Church
Our Leadership Team
At Newfolden Evangelical Free Church, our deacons serve faithfully by providing spiritual support, practical care, and leadership within the church body. They are committed to living out Christ’s example of servant leadership—caring for the needs of our congregation, guiding important decisions, and encouraging us to grow together in faith. Through prayer, wisdom, and compassion, our deacons help ensure that NEFC remains a welcoming and Christ-centered community for all who walk through our doors.

Our FOUNDATION
The Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) unites believers around a shared foundation of biblical truth and gospel-centered living. Our Statement of Faith, adopted in 2019, affirms our core convictions about God, His Word, salvation through Jesus Christ, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. We believe in one triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who redeems, renews, and reigns with grace and truth. Scripture is our ultimate authority, guiding how we live, serve, and love others. Through the church, Christ’s body, we are called to make disciples of all nations, live with compassion and justice, and eagerly await His glorious return.
