Our Ministiries
At Newfolden Evangelical Free Church (NEFC), our ministries are designed to help people of all ages grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out God’s Word in everyday life. From Sunday worship to midweek Bible studies and youth programs, there is a place for everyone to connect and belong.

Sunday Morning Worship Service
Join us each Sunday for a Christ-centered worship service that includes biblical teaching, prayer, and uplifting worship. Our services are welcoming, family-friendly, and rooted in God’s Word.
Ages: Birth – 3 Years
Sunday Morning Nursery
Our nursery provides a safe, loving environment for infants and toddlers during the worship service. A private nursing room is also available for mothers.
Ages: 4 Years old to 4th grade
Sunday Morning Childrens Church
Children's Church is designed especially for our younger learners. Children are dismissed during the after the worship service before the sermon for age-appropriate Bible teaching and activities.
Ages: 3 Years old – 6th Grade
Sunday Morning Sunday School
Sunday School offers engaging, Bible-based lessons and hands-on activities. Children come prior to church (9:15am) for large group followed by small group instruction based on grade level.

Sunday School for All Ages
Sunday School at NEFC provides Bible teaching for every stage of life. Nursery care is available, making it easy for the whole family to attend and grow together.

Ages: 4 Years – 6th Grade
AWANA Children’s Ministry
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Based on II Timothy 2:15, AWANA helps children learn and memorize Scripture while building a strong foundation of faith. Through lessons, games, and fellowship, kids are encouraged to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word.
Wednesdays | 6:45 PM – 8:00 PM
Adult Bible Fellowship
Our Adult Bible Fellowship offers in-depth Bible study and discussion in a welcoming group setting. This midweek gathering encourages spiritual growth, prayer, and connection with others.
Youth Ministry | Grades 7–12
Wednesdays | 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM
DETOUR Student Ministries
DETOUR Student Ministries is a welcoming place for teens to grow in their relationship with Christ, build friendships, and learn how faith applies to everyday life. Students gather weekly for teaching, worship, and fellowship.
Serve Opportunity:
Support our students by signing up to provide a Simple Supper at 6:15 PM on Wednesdays.
Women’s Ministries
First Tuesday of Each Month | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Women of the Word (W.O.W.)
Women of the Word is a relaxed and welcoming gathering for fellowship and Bible study. We begin with a light supper and conversation, followed by time in God’s Word. Come when you can, leave when you must!
Second Tuesday of Each Month (During School Year) | 6:30 PM
Moms of Faith
Open to moms with children of all ages—from newborns to 18 years old. Moms of Faith offers encouragement, prayer, and fellowship. Please enter through the west door off the south parking lot. See the calendar for upcoming events.
men’s Ministries
1st & 3rd Mondays of Each Month | 6:30 PM
ManCave Series 1.3
ManCave is a men’s Bible study focused on faith, fellowship, and practical application of God’s Word. Meetings are held using the east door off the south parking lot. See the calendar for details.
