Greetings in the Savior!
Thanks for visiting our website. As you browse around these
pages, I
trust you will get a sense as to who we are as a church and as to
what God
is doing in our midst.
It was my privilege thirteen years ago to arrive in Newfolden with
my wife,
Laurie, my daughter Danea, and my sons Mike and Matt. I came with
a Th.M
degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, ten years of pastoral
ministry
behind me, and the hope that serving the Newfolden Evangelical
Free Church
would be as positive an experience as the previous ten years had
been.
Little did I know the rich blessings in store for my family and
me!
As we have laughed and cried and worked and played among these
people, we
have been the recipients of so much more than we could ever have given
them.
This is
an outstanding congregation with a sincere love for the Lord,
unusual
faithfulness in their personal service and a willingness to try
new
approaches as a church. They have also done an excellent job of
remaining
relevant while respecting and embracing their past.
If you are looking for a "home church" or just a place for an
occasional
visit, I encourage you to check us out. I believe your experience
will also
be a rewarding one.
